LOST IDENTITY

Nigeria as a country, then Africa as a whole is a continent endowed with very many great cultures that display what distinguishes them from people of other world's sphere. In fact, our Africanness is defined by our cultural identity - what we hold as our traditional heritage. We are Africans because we are able to live and maintian the statusque of the legacies our ancient and ever memorable ancestors accumulated and left behind for us. Though globalization has tried to disturt this Africanness of the African, we still stand even in the mist of the great changes going on in our technological and globalized world - a planet now converted into a village by communication technology. However, there is a great menace in the pipe line which shakes the very root and foundation of the "kpim" of the African race. Infact, Africa is about to, if not already lost its cultural stand. One can easily recognize that due to European influnce (which one may maintain that is for good) Africans are now neither Europeans nor Africans. What a dilemer in identiy?

THOUGHT ON THOUGHT

Over the years phislsophers were known for instigating thought. Then, now and alwyas, they are ever pregnant with thoughts and when these thuoghts come "to be" every entuity in this planet will be concerned. In the same aliment of thought, some young thinkers projected some facts which gave one a philosophical cum psychological lingering tintinabulation. These facts were obtianed from lived exprences that the only way to attain great hights and only way to conquer this planet within the religious frame work, and in fact in any other sphere of life, is through what is termed "philosophy of 'Obi umeala" secondly, when we disobey the norms of the land, its is said that the land has been disecreted, (i.e Imeru ala) following this trend, when a person is wonded, we say that "omerula ahu" (he has desecreted the body). this consequently leads us into "the concept of Imeru Ahu in Igbo Uwaology".

In view of the above, thinkers are urged and encouraged to reflect around these "philosopsychoexistential" concepts-

As it is said "happiness is an inside joy", this joy also radiate from and towards the people whom one live with(the community members). The college or amy of prefects in Holy Ghost Juniorate is community that even the sun rays cannot dismember or disintegrate. Its strenght is equivalent to that of a Diamond. In fact this is a Diamond college of prefects.
